It's Been A While

Bienvenue and welcome to you; the familiar faces who have followed on over my old USP 'frenchiesblogger' and to the brand new shiny faces who haven't read a blog post of mine before.
How do you do?

The daily life of a blogger/vlogger can seem extremely glamorous, Insta perfect filtered, carefree and maybe even sometimes lazy. When in actual fact, that's usually not the case, even though most -if not all- people who blog and vlog absolutely love it, that doesn’t mean it’s always plain sailing.
There is a lot of preparation and work that goes into every blog post and video ( especially if your equipment is having a funny five minutes every two seconds, and my old laptop has been broken for over a year). Blogging has always been more of a hobby of mine, (I would loove it to be my fulltime occupation) however with such a high demand at work -working 5 or 6 days a week- and a decline in my mental health and motivation, I needed to take a break from everything.
Taking a break away from blogging, social media and just digital life in general; is very important and the need to disconnect, unplug and have a technology detox is never one to be ignored.
I’ve got to admit I didn’t expect my ‘detox/break’ to last this long but my main focus had to become myself;  my health, and taking control back from the negatives and stress.
I cannot state enough the importance of listening to your body, getting the rest, time away and help you may need.

Guess what? I finally saved up enough and bought myself a laptop which works! WooHoo!
So hey guys, it may have been a while but I’ve got lots of scrumptious new projects, blog posts, and surprises coming up (as you can see from my lovely new format, I did a fair bit of coding myself, so proud!!).

So please stay tuned. xo
