August Favourites
Today I'd like to have a bit of a chat with you about the products that have either been my go-to or amazed me throughout the month of August. August was a mix of heat waves and rain here in the UK but I can honestly say come rain or shine these items will also be used A LOT in September too!

I'm going to start with a product I have fallen in love with and that I had never used before this month (actually will probably be last month by the time I publish this post). If you know me or follow me on any of my social media (links can be found under the 'SUIVRE' tab on the menu bar above) I tried to dye my hair blue, added in the wrong type of toner and it went a weird mix of different green shades. Whilst I am happy to try and rock any look this one was not working and my hair was feeling pretty fried and very damaged at the ends.
In comes the Osmo intensive deep repair mask which I purchased from my local Sally's. Without sounding too cliche it does exactly what it says on the tin and my hair feels pretty glorious and is looking shiny and healthier after just one use. I'm so impressed and happy with this scrumptious cruelty-free hair product and at £2.99 for a 100mltub it is worth the mention. Anyone whose hair needs a little or major TLC I could not recommend this product more!

I was very sceptical before I started using the Lush Sleepy Body Lotion. Whilst this product has been raved about online, making its way into the beauty sections of magazines and gaining its own hashtag worthy hype with bloggers and consumers alike I couldn't help but wonder whether it was all just clever advertising and another sale gimmick. After heading into a Lush store to investigate the product (and stock up on my favourite bath bombs and bars) and smelling the calming and dreamy scent of this lotion I knew I had to make a purchase and test it out for myself. I was not disappointed! I first used this body lotion after a bath and my sister told me I smelt like Christmas. The creamy texture (Cocoa Butter and Oatmeal based) and relaxing scent (mild fragrance of Lavender, YlangYlang and Tonka bean) smell like Lavender infused Ginger bread!! (I honestly felt like I smelt good enough to eat!). I do believe with the aid of a hot chocolate; I have found my insomnia cure. Oh, it also leaves my skin feeling silky smooth too, you only need a little, and it really does go a long way.

Louise Pentland who many of you probably also know as 'Sprinkle of Glitter' is a blogger and Youtuber. Whilst balancing her busy life of meetings, filming, moving house, taking care of her gorgeous daughter Darcy and is now expecting Baby Girl Pentland (congrats to you Louise, Liam and Darcy on your fabulous news) Lousie has managed to write a book. Wilde Like Me is a feel good best-seller that enthrals you into the life of Robin Wilde, who is one of the most likeable and relatable main characters of a book that I think I've ever read. The book is an easy read, even though I haven't finished it just yet, I'm enjoying every chapter more than the last. Louise's personality definitely shines through in her humorous writing and embarrassing single mum tales, so if you know and love her this book is already a winner. I don't want to reveal too much about the plot and I will be doing a Book Review once I have actually finished reading it. What I can tell you is that this book is the perfect holiday read, the perfect hot chocolate and blanket read or a large glass of wine at the end of a stressful day/week read. I'm excited to discover more about the characters and follow Robin on her journey!
