Christmas Jumper Day | Blogmas 2017

This was not the Blog Post post I had initially planned for today, however after browsing on the internet this morning, aka my Instagram feed, I realised today is Christmas Jumper day here in the UK. I knew that this day was coming, I just didn't realise it was Today (Christmas Jumper Day happens on the third Friday of December every year). Now that that boring story is over let's get onto the Blog Post and laugh at the outcome of an impromptu photo shoot...

Hey Merry Readers,

Wait, you've never heard of Christmas Jumper day Before? (btw this bit is for the people that have never heard of Christmas Jumper Day before.) This day -also known as Ugly Sweater Day- is here for us to not only feel the festive cheer but to also raise money for Save the Children. Save the Children is a charity that offers support and helps save children's lives all over the world, you can Donate Here.

In the spirit of Christmas and Save the Children, I've donned my best and worst Christmas Jumpers out of my very own collection. Don't worry I don't have 25 Festive Knits, that's the ultimate dream (ok, maybe an over exaggeration). I thought I'd do something a bit different, so I'm letting you have a sneak peek into my festive wardrobe, Not all of the Jumpers I have are still available to purchase, as they are years old.

Loading ... Christmas Spirit

Here we have a lesser spotted Bash in her natural environment. (Alright, I'll stop with the third person, Sir David Attenborough impression, as if we haven't all done it once.) Let's start off with my current favourite festive jumper. I bought this from a fabulous little company called Hippo Warehouse that I discovered when browsing through Amazon Fashion. This little jumper comes in different colours and is perfect for the gamer, blogger, internet enthusiast or person that takes a little longer to get into the festive spirit.

Reindeer and Snowflakes

Wait, another white Jumper? Is there a theme going on here? Well, I actually can't be blamed for this Jumper this was bought for me back in, (me:"Mum when did you buy me this jumper?", mum:"I honestly can't remember".) we shall never know. The Jumper that I'm wearing is from Tesco's F&F range. I was so happy when I found a similar one on the interweb, however, I lost the link and am too lazy to try to find it again, sorry (moral of the story here, supermarket clothing ranges are cute and can last a while).

Hollie Reindeer Jumper

This is the best pic of a blurry bunch of me pretending to drink hot chocolate.
I bought this cosy little Jumper From Boohoo last year. It's the perfect mix of farlisle print and festive, without being too garish or slogan heavy. This Jumper comes in numerous colours and I couldn't resist this lovely lavender that goes perfectly with a purple lip. (This Jumper is also available at other retailers, just in case your favourite colour is sold out.)

The Christmas Cardigan

This little number is an alternative to the sweatshirt or Jumper. If you're someone who prefers a cardi or wants to go double festive and sport a Christmas Top underneath for all to see, this may be for you. I must say I'm not the biggest cardi fan, but this one is super comfy and a little bit longer on the sleeves. I bought this number from Vero Moda in Italy, it was reduced all the way down to €4.99, and I'm not one to pass up on a beautiful bargain.

The Glitter Jumper

Despite the drab first look of this Jumper, I promise is it still festive. If you don't like to go all out at Christmas time, a little touch can go a long way. This little grey jumper (I'm not sure if you can tell on the picture) is a glittery number. When I walk, talk and shake about I don't contaminate the world around me, the glitter and sparkle in this jumper are in the threadwork so you can simmer all day and night.
This little Jumper is a contender for my Christmas day outfit and is available from H&M

I wear all of the Jumpers posted above and have donned the 'Christmas Spirit' sweatshirt today whilst Donating To Save the Children. Fad or Rad? What are your thoughts on the Christmas Jumper trend? Do you have 1 or maybe even 25? Let me know in the comments below.

Hope you enjoyed today's post
If I do find similar jumpers to the ones that currently aren't linked I'll add them later on, feel free to comment below if you find them before I do.

Thanks for Reading,
Remember to Come Back Tomorrow to Open Another Blog Post on the Blogmas Calendar.
