Motivational Quotes To Get You Through The Week
π¨ "I said, "Somebody should do something about that." Then I realised I am somebody." Lily Tomlin.
You have the power to make a change in your day, your week, your month, year and life, so why shouldn't you have the power to change the world?
π¨ "All great achievements require time." Maya Angelou
We all know Rome wasn't built in a day, If you need help or extra time with paperwork, a project, an essay, simply ask. Don't feel like you're failing because you're not where you want to be right now, work hard and with time, you'll get there.
π¨"It's only after you step out of your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow, transform." Roy T. Bennett.
Try something new, and step into the unknown, you'll only grow as a person. If you're in the unknown but already scared, you're actually one step ahead of everyone else to take a moment to be proud of you an continue.
π¨"Don't worry about the mistakes, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try." Jack Canfield.
If you live by this quote you'll never look back and think 'what if', mistakes happen all the time, they are how we learn, how we meet new people. Stop fearing of falling flat on your face, you may find a hidden talent, learn to Network or even get a promotion.
π¨ "A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it, it just blooms." Zen Shi.
You are living your life, each and every one of us is different in some way so we can never truly beat someone else entirely. Life Isn't a competition, it's a journey, enjoy the ride.
It could be something small like packing a lunch and laying out clothes the night before or something bigger like applying for a job or starting a blog. Little things we do now can go a long way and our future selves will be grateful for the effort we put in now. Greatness has to start somewhere.
π¨ "Always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals." Michelle Obama.
Someone will always be there to make a comment, knock passed you, or make you feel bad, It says more about them than it does about you. Don't let the bullies, the haters and the jealous people bring you down. You're amazing and they clearly feel they need to stop you succeeding in someway, don't them continue to progress and you shall succeed.
π¨ "She needed a hero, so that's what she became."
This quotation strikes a chord with me and I often feel it's my life motto. It's great to have a support network and to have people to depend on, but taking care of yourself and becoming independent is the best feeling in the world. Knowing you don't have to constantly rely on someone for your needs is as freeing to you as it is to them.
π¨ "We generate fears while we sit. We overcome them by action." Dr Henry Link.
All those with anxiety know this to be true, a negative thought will enter our mind and we allow the fear to spread and take over. Instead of avoiding someone or somewhere it's better to face them and work through your emotions. We've all created a mountain out of a molehill before. Stop sitting inside worrying aboutall the problems of the world, go out ad help. It doesn'y have to be expensive or overcomplicated, the smallest things can make the biggest change.
π¨ "Believe you can and you are halfway there." Theodore Roosevelt.
This is one of my favourite quotations because it's completely true, we often limit ourselves by saying "I can't do that" or "I don't like that" and more often than not we haven't even tried what's on offer to us, let alone what we want or dream of doing. Start to believe you can do things and watch how quickly things can change.
I hope you enjoyed this little blog post, and it gives you some of the motivation you may need.
