How To Shop Wisely This Black Friday

Black Friday falls on November 23rd this Year (2018), and the stores have already been sending 'early bird' deals and discounts our way. Instead of getting flustered scrolling through pages, trying to find the best deals online and ending up missing out on fabulous items, Here are some tips for bossing Black Friday Deals:

🛍 Pre-Browse

Instead of scrolling aimlessly through pages and pages of clothes that don't pique your interest and missing out on the one thing that really wows you, pre-browse and make a note of what the items you love are called and what sizes you need them in. This way when you get up on Friday you can straight to the store you need, find the items straight away and order them with ease. (I did not do this before Nasty Gals' 50% off everything sale and missed out on the Elton John Tee I wanted!) After the Elton John T-shirt incident, I now bookmark pages of the items I love, that way as soon as I'm on an electronic device, (be it my phone or laptop) I'm able to go directly to the items I desire.

🛍 Shop Early Deals

If you know you'll be super busy this Friday and won't have any time to log online and get your items, buy them beforehand. Loads of shops are doing deals and discounts all this week in the run-up to Black Friday, so get ahead of the curve and shop in the clam this week before the storm of this weekend begins.

🛍 Make An Account

When shopping online, you can create an account with a store and choose your own password. This means the store keeps your delivery and Payment* (*optional) details, cutting down on time needed to check out.

🛍 Keep Your Passwords Close

Most stores will let you stay logged in, so if you're using your personal phone or laptop you will already be logged into your own account. However If for any reason you are using a different wifi or phone/laptop/tablet to browse or order your items, it's a good idea to keep your passwords close. The simplest way is to memorise the passwords you'll need for Friday, you can jot them down in your phone or on your laptop in a password protected file (that's the super secure way to do it). You could jot it down in your notes or to do list for the day (the super not-secure way to do it) but remember to destroy the piece of paper after so no one steals your passwords.
This makes logging in a breeze instead of having to reset your password or checking out as a guest and filling in all your details again.

🛍 Remember Delivery Costs

A lot of people get caught out with delivery costs, just because there are sales, left right and center it doesn't mean that delivery costs will be reduced. When doing a pre-browse or shopping early deals make sure to double check the delivery costs and factor that into your budget. By factoring in the cost of delivery you won't get caught out at the end and have to choose between items in your basket.
There are discount code sights you can double check for delivery discount codes so it may be worth a browse around those before the big sale day too.

Hope you found these tips useful, and they help you out when Friday eventually rolls around, Good Luck and Happy Shopping.
