Resolutions Recap

Hello Chums,
A quarter of the year has already past, one whole quarter! After hibernating for most of January and being snowed in most of March it's understandable that most of us will have no idea where that time has gone. A whole quarter of the year gone already, so I decided to catch up on My New Years Resolutions and see whether I'm succeeding and progressing in 2018:

Continue Working on my Mental Health and Wellbeing
Yes, first Resolution and so far I'm succeeding! I have continued to work on my mental health and wellbeing, I have continued seeing my therapist, nutritionist and doctor to stay on the right track and continue with my treatments. I've been finding it hard to relax and switch off but I'm constantly looking into and working with different mindful activities.

Continue and Complete my 100 Days Without Anxiety Challenge ☑❎
Alright, you caught me here, I haven't completed the 100 Days Without Anxiety Challenge and found myself wondering if I would ever get to the end. I've continued this challenge at a snail's pace during this first quarter but I'm hoping to push through and complete some more very soon. I might have to set myself a goal of completing a few different challenges per week, but we'll see.

Continue Blogging and upload on a Regular Basis ☑❎
The fact that you are reading this is physical proof that I have continued blogging. I haven't stuck to my regular schedule due to personal and medical reasons. I am doing my very best and considering that I am also starting to get back to work I don't think I'm not doing too bad. What do you think?

Do/Try Something New Every Month
Not only having I been doing something New every month I have also been eating and drinking something new every month too, and I've been blogging about it. The January and February blog posts of the Try Something New edition are already available to read, (click on the links). (March Will be up next week.) So far I have tried; Knitting, coding, Ginger chocolate, Kiwi berries, Peanut butter hot chocolate, ginger beer, and more.

Drink More Water
I have been so bad with this resolution, I need to drink more water, I need to hydrate. I know I'm not the only one who forgets to drink water regularly, so if anyone has any tips? I would really appreciate it, leave a comment below or get in touch.

Do Yoga Every Day
I have a feeling it may just be downhill from here... January was a washout, even though I would wear sweatpants I would not be practicing any type of exercise apart from daily dog walks. I lasted almost two weeks straight of daily Yoga in February but the Psycho cat decided to start attacking me again and this set me back. During March I've had a bit of a dip and ill-health and have fallen off the yoga wagon completely, I'm struggling a bit with motivation here if anyone could send me some it would be much appreciated. I've just signed up for a Yoga class and I'm hoping this will help me get back into it and improve my flexibility and posture during movements.

Save Money and Keep A budget
Whoop scooped it back! At the beginning of the year, I set out a budget and thus far have stuck to it. This is the first time in my life I have been 100% on top of my finances, I know exactly what I have spent and 9 times out of ten can say no to an impulse buy. I'm really proud of myself, for finally learning how to budget reasonably, to save wisely and to stop unnecessary purchases.

Keep Intouch With People
I've given this a tick because I have been better than usual at keeping in touch with friends, family, and people within the social media and blogging community. I'm not the best at it and I still have a ways to go at keeping on top of my communications and replies, but so far so good.

Allow Myself To Say No
I think I may have gone overboard with this one, I keep saying No to things and can't remember the last time I said yes, which is really unhealthy. I have taken this resolution too far, I need to take a step back and allow myself to say yes and agree to do things rather than brushing them away. I have wielded the power of the word no, from here on out I shall learn to use it wisely and in moderation.

Let Go of the Things I Don't Need
I have done a spring clean of my room and given lots of my clothes to charity, I've also sorted through miscellaneous items and have given a few to charity or people I know that will use them. I feel lighter, a weight gets lifted off my shoulders everytime I give something away. Obviously, this resolution isn't just about material items. I have also managed to stay relatively drama-free and been able to shake off negative people and thoughts. I feel a lot lighter and feel as though I have more freedom and a little bit more confidence. This resolution has helped me to envision the life I would like.

So, That's how I've been getting on with my New Years Resolutions, how are you doing a quarter of the way through the year? Six out of 10 isn't a bad start I have room to improve on others, Writing this post has helped me to see how much I have already Improved and given me perspective on the work I have already done. I'm now clear in which direction I need to travel and how I can improve myself and my lifestyle.

Thanks for Reading,
Much Loves
XO
